Not what I was looking for. I usually like the Dummies books but this one wasn’t what I was looking for. There was too much focus on things like pond design and building and not enough on caring for koi, which is what I needed. Fortunately, Amazon has a terrific return policy so they rate 5 stars.

  2. Norman K. Saito says:

Excellent source. Excellent source of information for beginners. Covers the obvious and also the important but most often overlooked aspects of Koi. Could use more descriptions on the color varieties, but there are other books for that. If you want to know what’s involved in keeping Koi, this should be your first book.
